All the foams we use are environmentally friendly, made from natural oils.

Our major suppliers are from Quebec and operate within 60 km of our factory.

For each mattress sold, we personally plant 3 trees.

Ecological foams
The foams used in all our products contain resins and oils derived from renewable resources, such as soybean oil.
All foams and covers are CFC, HCFC, PBDE, TCEP, TDCPP and Formaldehyde free.
Our mattresses and pillows contain no flame retardants. They comply with the most stringent standards; California Technical Bulletin 117-2013, Section III, Resilient Filling Material Test.
Every action counts
Our planet, with its wealth inherited from millions of years of evolution, is no longer able to compensate for the ecological footprint of mankind. Today, it would take the equivalent of two planets to neutralize this footprint.

For each mattress sold, we commit to planting 3 trees in order to contribute to a cleaner and more ecological future.

In order to leave future generations a planet on which it is still possible to live, we must act in two ways: first by reducing the impact of our industrial activities on nature and then by compensating for the irreducible part of this impact.

Choosing the right materials
To reduce the impact of our activities on the environment, we use environmentally friendly foams made largely from natural oils, a cover fabric made from 100% organic cotton fibres and boxes made from recycled cardboard.
Eco-friendly glue
Our environmental choices also extend to our choice of glue. We only use water-based adhesives for the assembly of our mattresses. All this to limit VOC (volatile organic compound) emissions.
Acknowledging our responsibilities
That said, our business, like any business, has an impact on the environment. We know that the production and transportation of the materials that make up our products generate greenhouse gas emissions. That's whywe are constantly working to reduce our environmental footprint.

MATTRESS

Q: Should I try my mattress before buying it?

A: In a word: no. We designed our mattresses to provide universal comfort and we are confident that you will love yours. However, you do get a 100-day trial period.

We have created a questionnaire to help you choose your mattress.

 

Q: Is there an adjustment period?

A: The human body reacts differently to changes, so you may need a few days of adjustment to fully enjoy your new mattress. The majority of our customers find ideal comfort from the first night.

Your mattress is vacuum-packed the day before your delivery. It is best to unpack your mattress upon receipt because your comfort guarantee begins on this date. In the event that you must keep it in a box, we advise you not to exceed one month.

Q: Do the mattresses smell after unpacking?

A: A slight odor when unpacking is normal! This is the case for all mattresses made of pressure-reducing foam. Rest assured that this odor will dissipate quickly and, above all, that this odor is neither toxic nor dangerous to your health. If this bothers you, after unpacking your mattress, simply let it air without covering it in a ventilated room and in no time it will have dissipated.

Q: Will your Bleu.eco mattress lose its original shape?

A: Bleu.eco mattresses are made of high-quality materials that resist sagging for a long time. Check out our warranties page

Q: What is the maximum weight?

A: The bleu.eco mattresses are designed to support a weight of 300 pounds per person. For optimal performance, we therefore recommend the mattress for individuals under 300 pounds.

For people over 300 pounds, we invite you to contact us. We will be able to compose a custom mattress that will suit you. We have a lot of experience when it comes to mattress adaptation and we can do it at a low cost.

Q: I have specific health problems, are Bleu.eco mattresses right for me?

BED BASES

Q: Can I use a conventional box spring?

A: Yes. In most cases, a box spring will last you almost your entire life.

If its surface does not provide enough support, you can supplement it with simple ¼ inch plywood.

If you are unsure, please talk to us about it.
You can therefore use your bleu.eco mattress on a platform, on all slatted bases (the spacing between the slats must not be more than 3.5 in) – or on a box spring completed with plywood.
Once the mattress is removed from its transport box, it will be ready to use in just a few minutes.

Q: Can I use an adjustable bed base?

A: Yes, all the mattresses we manufacture are designed to be used with an adjustable bed base. To purchase an adjustable bed base, do not hesitate to contact our team of advisors or consult our articulated bed comparison page

Q: My mattress is uneven, what should I do?

A: This is almost always due to the surface the mattress is resting on. If you experience this type of problem, we recommend testing the evenness of the mattress directly on the floor. If you find that this corrects the unevenness, you should assess whether your box spring or bed base is damaged. If your bleu.eco mattress still appears uneven on the floor, contact us immediately.
